Our journey together began seven years ago at Fitclub... where Karla was #stayinalive and Vicky was close to tears.

Not long after, we joined Hot Mess Consulting, where we discovered our knack for turning ideas into thriving online businesses.

MEET VICKY

Vicky isn’t just another marketer—she’s the woman you want in your corner when building a brand that’s unforgettable.

With over a decade of experience spanning graphic design, photography, marketing, and eCommerce web builds, she brings both strategy and creativity to the table—and knows exactly how to connect brands with their audience.

For six years, Vicky was part of the driving force behind Hot Mess Consulting, where she went from graphic designer and Shopify builder to Design Manager leading a team of five during COVID, and eventually Marketing Manager overseeing content strategy, product development, and brand growth. She helped grow the business from $300 websites to a thriving agency serving 400+ boutique clients, with a special passion for empowering female-led businesses. Along the way, she:

🧡 Built 400+ brands and Shopify websites from the ground up
🧡 Created and coordinated a Shopify DIY course that empowered business owners to run their own stores
🧡 Developed the Glam Up Subscription and designed all graphics to support it
🧡 Ran Hot Mess Marketing as “Angela”, delivering full-scale social, email, and content strategy
🧡 Mastered AI configuration to capture brand voices with a human-first approach

Her expertise doesn’t stop there. Vicky holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management and a Marketing Degree (Cum Laude), where she was recognized as Top Marketing Student in her state. A gifted communicator, she’s delivered motivational speeches to students, inspired future leaders, and spoken confidently to everyone from classrooms to C-suites.

Her impact extends beyond business: as a national award-winning Recycling Educator, she managed 300 schools recycling over 3,000 tons of waste, even training her successor to achieve the same recognition. She was also nominated for Business Woman of the Year—a testament to her dedication and influence.

For 13 years, Vicky has been a professional photographer and designer, specializing in branding that not only looks good but converts. She knows where to find your audience, how to engage them, and how to move them to action. Her work with long-standing clients like The Waste Trade Company (12+ years strong) reflects her ability to build trust and deliver results that last.

At the heart of it all, Vicky is driven by purpose, creativity, and a genuine desire to pay it forward. She’s passionate, resourceful, and fiercely committed to helping brands grow—because when her clients win, she wins too.

MEET KARLA

Karla is the heartbeat of our operations—the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Management (Cum Laude) and a Computerized Project Management Diploma, she brings a powerful blend of business knowledge, structure, and people skills to the table.

Her strength lies in her ability to balance strategy with personality. Sharp, organized, and solution-driven, Karla knows how to streamline projects and nurture client relationships with ease.

But don’t be fooled—behind the brains is a vibrant personality with rainbow hair, bold prints, and an energy that lights up every room.

When she’s not busy keeping projects (and us!) on track, you’ll likely find Karla dancing her heart out!
